Whenever possible, I will quote a fixed fee for the service that you require before I undertake any work on your behalf.

It can sometimes be difficult to assess in advance how much work a matter will require, and in such a case I will charge based on the time that it is necessary to spend on the matter, but I will always provide you with an estimate of the overall cost before you decide to instruct me.

In addition to my professional costs, further disbursements will sometimes be payable to third parties. These can include apostille fees payable to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, consular legalisation fees (which will vary from country to country), consular agent’s fees, international postage, couriers, translators etc. I will inform you of the cost of these before incurring them on your behalf. Payment of these disbursements, if needed, is required in advance.

I am not registered for VAT, so VAT is not payable.
